Now I’d be the last person to suggest New Year’s Eve to be a night for drinking (though I’ll be leaving the Fair a wee dram with their cream that evening).

But this ad was so well done and speaks about the drive of entrepreneurship that I had to include it.

Now normally I tell everyone not to worry about doing it in one take … the editor’s job is to fix mistakes. But this particular ad was done in one take …. with a large dose of rehearsal time.

A lot of the comments on this ad have to do with the brilliance of the shoot. And it is a truly brilliant ad from a purely technical view. But it’s also a brilliant ad from the copywriter’s view … it tells a story that is part of the mythology of the company. A story that they have interwoven into every seam of the company. A trick we as entrepreneurs would be well served to emulate.
