On Creating Content …. Courses out there

I’ve been out there looking around the ‘net trying to find anyone who teaches writing ebooks and creating knowledge content.

And I’m feeling like Seargent Shultz – “I see Nuttinks, Nuuuuh..tinks!”

And in the process I’m getting to see lots of videos and webinars and other type presentations and I’ve become quite convinced of one thing …

Almost no-one knows how to create ebooks and other knowledge content.

And those who do – aren’t talking!

simply put, I’m not seeing a lot of people who know how to create knowledge content (that includes writing ebooks, designing courses and creating presentations). At least based on their materials … and the ones who seem to know how to do it aren’t publishing anything of any particular use. And neither are their disciples — who, generally speaking, are nowhere near as good with their materials!

And yet, I’ve been taught how to write courses and course materials. I know my partner has been. I know the training is available.

And yet, it’s obvious most people don’t know how to design a presentation. And the only courses I’ve found either teach how to market your ebook OR how to write your great work of fiction.

So why not? Is it a real lack of knowledge (lack of communications) or a lack of market?

I know that I’m either having or had the problems involved in creating content. And if I’m having the problems — most likely others are too.

I guess I’ll find out as I begin the actual process of bringing my ebook and courses to market.
