Holding the mayo may be a great way to lose calories. But holding questions is a poor way to speak.

Questions are a way for your audience to interact and direct your presentation.

It might seem at first that you should hold your questions to the end. After all, that way you get to control where the presentation is going and ensure that everything you need taught is taught.

And there are situations where you need to do so.

But in most instances you are far better to allow your audience a measure of control in where your presentation meanders. By taking questions, you encourage participation. You also are more likely to present information that is truly relevant to your audience.
